Often called the “Godmother of Saint Soleil School of Painting”; Louisiane was born in Petit trou de Nippes in 1922. One of the five founders of “Saint Soleil”, she is also the mother of famous painters Ramphis and Stivenson Magloire. Her influence on the progress of Haitian art has been enormous. She lived in Petion Ville. There is a great demand for Louisiane’s paintings. Her work has been exhibited in many parts of the world. Died in 2005
